Instructions
- The meeting point is on Road 39, Þrengslavegur, not far from the T-section where you go on to Road 38. It is in the area called Ölfus 816
- Show your smartphone ticket to the guide at the Lava Tunnel or at the pickup
- Please make sure to be at the Lava Tunnel or the pickup location 10 minutes in advance
- The tour starts at 10:00
- The tour can be denied if no hiking shoes with ankle support
Additional Info
Hiking boots with ankle support are compulsory
Please wear comfortable hiking trousers and a waterproof shell jacket

The Lava Tunnel is less than 30 minutes from Reykjavik: Head east on road 1, turn onto road 39 after approximately 18km. You will find The Lava Tunnel parking lot after approximately 12km
Free optional transfer from Reykjavik is included in this ticket

Not recommended for people with mobility issues/severe claustrophobia, pregnant women
