Halfway through this icy expedition, the tour pauses to allow adventurers to appreciate the serene beauty and capture lovely snaps of the icy wilderness.

Knowledgeable guides will share fascinating stories and facts about the glacier during the tour. Safety and comfort are top priorities, with overalls and helmets provided at the base camp.

  • Meet at the base camp near Smyrlabjörg Hotel, 46 km west of the town of Höfn and 34 km east of Jökulsárlón. It is right next to the highway
  • Please note that the meeting point is not at the hotel, it's a base camp
  • Show your smartphone voucher to the staff
